NOOER

hey man nothing much up 'cept the old insectile burrow into the deepest black dirt of my own unconscious. huge eyes, unblinking eyes loom out from the sides and then recede. we are going down some corkscrew car ramp into the earth. at the bottom, we emerge into a vast cavern. it is very moist and comfortable.several of us merge together, taking pleasure in this, eventually forming new beings. our lifestuff has become like milkand we are formless. we are oour own face before it took form. the millions of cellular geniuses of great great grandparents and grandmas and fathers and mothers mixes together through out this no effort is involved. true creation requires no effort, it is allowed to happen. we need not concern ourselves with cells or protoplasmic moments... this ttoo is in the realm of samsara... a thought0object to anchor attention onto the material...easy to get sidetracked into questions of whether a memory or a thought has mass. but look at the leverage of consciousness. it can make changes. the world so much sillyputty for the last few years... plazstic planet... e verywhere stone is blasted to make room for apartments; topsoil o bulldozed to make room for more roads tinto the forest. am i wringing my hands about this? no, i'm just saying this is just one morre place your mind can go and spend alot of energy . but what i am studying now is a method of clear and everpresent awareness. a way to stay in the nowmoment... to handle negative and positive thoughts and energies iin such a way that they are observed as ornaments to the reaility field the mind constructs. for we know nothing without mind. i am awaree of little right now except the feelings of my fingers as i type as well as the thought objects that i type about.

the thought objects and the keyboard and my hand all share a unified being. anything that exists has a corellation to this. it may be inconseqquential or it maybe important. the artist completes his work and the releases them.

i think the tibetans who work for months on elaborate ssand mandalas are taught a lesson about inmpermaneanence when their master sweeps away a month of effort with one motion of his hand. same goes for the ornate yak buter sculptures they make for festivals. as soon as the hot sun begins to shine on these carvings, they begin to drip and lose their form.

i see it as a way of eleevating the student above his normal time consciousness... away to show him "hey, this is what happens to everythingj... your body, your works, these things are impermanent... so donn't get hung upn on creating something monumental with your life."

i still do.
